Don't Drown In Your Silence
Silence. When you don't know what to say, you don't know how to proceed, and you get to the point where your understanding of where you are is close to nothing. So, you go silent.
Walking this path, this walk, it's not like there isn't anything to bring to the Lord; you just honestly don't know what to say. People think that it is all joy when being in the Lord, but that is something that must be sought out. Otherwise, you will stay stuck in the in-between of knowing God is the God of the universe and actually feeling that He is the God of the universe on a daily basis.
There will be moments in your life where you will know. You will know that He is God. You will know that He is Lord. You will know that He died for our sins and placed you on the miry clay. You will know that He is your Father and that no one can ever take His place. But knowing these things is one thing; actually feeling them is another.
To feel these things about Him, you must continue to seek Him. In your silence, don't let your voice be drowned out by lies. Continue to know the truth in your mind, even when you can't feel it in your heart. Hold on to what you know about Him, even when your heart doesn't feel what your mind knows to be true.
Your silence will eventually end, and He will bring you back to joy again.
